Hi there! I'm Elzevera from Willow Editing, and my aim is to help overwhelmed writers who feel they're not doing enough, like they're not good enough, to discover their strengths. To develop a positive mindset by focusing on even the smallest successes and by learning to listen to yourself. To learn what feels good, and how to use that to your advantage in the self-editing process.
I strongly believe that every writer can publish a book without being overcome by shame or guilt, without feeling like a failure and without getting overwhelmed by the process.
The way I achieve this is by emphasizing the added value of self-editing your writing. On top of that, I aim to look beyond the simple act of writing and editing. To uncover insecurities and recurring struggles, and help you figure out how to overcome those by addressing underlying issues.
I believe that every writer can experience control and satisfaction through self-editing their book and that the self-confidence that stems from that will express itself in all other areas of life as well.
So learning to master the self-editing process will help you not only grow as a writer, but as a person as well.
You are good enough. You are in control. You got this.
Choosing to join the Under the Willow community is a symbolic action: It's choosing to commit to your writing project. To commit to yourself as a writer.
